What makes a powder snowboard?
Rome powder snowboards feature technology that is specifically tailored to make your ride easier in deep snow. All of our powder snowboards start with our Free-the-Ride camber profile. A rockered nose, flat under the front foot, and positive cambered tail glide through powder with minimal rider lean required to stay on top of the snow. Coupled with the set back nature of a directional snowboard and your legs will thank you on deep days. We also include Directional Diamond 3D on all of our directional powder snowboards. Allowing the boarder to push through deep snow with ease and initiate extra long, smooth carves: our powder snowboards are fun from the ground up.
Rome powder snowboards all have a directional taper (the exact taper varies from model to model) which again makes floating through deep snow and turn initiation easier than ever before. One of two HotRod configurations (model dependent) put the cherry on top of our powder snowboards to give them the extra stability, pop, and power boarders crave for the perfect ride.

If you are looking to buy your first powder snowboard or perhaps like a bit more flex and playfulness in a snowboard, check out the Ravine, Women's Ravine or Service Dog. Slightly wider than other snowboards, and featuring a Single Bamboo HotRod in the nose of the board, the Service Dog is the perfect board to make wide long turns in open powder fields. Looking for a bit more nimbleness and float without giving up playfulness? The Ravine and Women's Ravine employ wider noses and Double Directional HotRods which allow newer powder riders to slice through powder feeling like a pro.
Are you a more experienced powder rider or someone who likes a less playful, more responsive snowboard? Looking to drop big cliffs or send huge pow jumps? The Ravine Pro and Stale Fish are our premium powder snowboards and can take you to the next level.
An upgrade to the Ravine, the Ravine Pro takes the same shape and HotRod configuration and beefs everything up. An upgraded core and base provide next level responsiveness and speed.
