Built with our Directional Diamond 3D in the nose for maximum float in pow, the Stale Fish also features Directional Flax Walls, running from the front insert pack to the board’s nose for additional rigidity and chatter dampening. Designed with a healthy waist width, there are plenty of riders with bigger feet who use the Stale Fish as a reliable daily driver, no matter the conditions.

Stale Fish Graphic Story
This year’s Stale Collection marks ten years of pro models for Ståle Sandbech and Rome; a massive milestone. Over the course of ten years, we’ve explored endless themes and graphical approaches. A decade later, Ståle’s approach to snowboarding, as well as this graphic, took a simpler path. After several variations on a singular theme, we landed here. With clouds building in the sky, a Storm is brewing. Mixed with a base electrified by a singular lightning bolt, these graphics is poised to stand out whether in the backcountry or laying ruts on local groomers. Ståle and his partner welcomed their first son, Storm, in to the world this past Summer.

This board is outstanding, it floats like a cloud in powder, is super stable, has good pop. I’ve ridden it in Japan powder, slush, groomers, chunder, park, seems to do everything really well, hands down one of the best powder boards that does it all.
This board is a masterpiece, unbelievable stable to carve and very playful , side hits and pow lines is a must for the crewzer board!!
Dream board for burning through trees and tearing through pow. Solid response in the rear to take on side hits with ease. Lays down carves really well too. Overall, very happy with how this board performs. If you live somewhere that gets a decent amount of fresh snow throughout the season, then I would highly recommend this board!
Cruisy, carvey, slashy. What a great board this is. Holds an edge well on the groomers, will leave a nice trench when gettin into those carves. Launches side hits like a dream. Really shines in powder. All around great board!
I use this as my good snow tree ninja in the Northeast US. It performs everywhere, from groomers to deep pow. It makes a great carver on corduroy, but does well in uneven snow. I sized down to a 154 for my 5'8" 185 lbs, and it makes for a really maneuverable, quick-turning board. Stiff enough for speed (to a point), but playful enough to be a tree ninja.
